avon foundation for women
championing women’s causes for over 65 years
the avon foundation, founded in 1955, runs and supports programmes that predominantly – though not exclusively – affect women, based on our belief that a better world for women is a better world for everyone.
over the last 65 years the avon foundation has contributed over us$1.1 billion to causes that support women and their families to lead safe and healthy lives. in partnership with local avon foundations and markets around the world, the avon foundation is a driving force behind charitable, scientific, educational and humanitarian work.
from raising awareness, to delivering lifesaving resources, we are deeply proud of the avon foundation and its pioneering work to improve the lives of women and their families.

pioneering work for women's causes
the avon foundation leads programmes that create positive outcomes for women’s health and wellbeing. it uses two key strategies:
assembling partners and thought leaders to collaborate and share best practices.
educating the public and key audiences to change behaviour and improve the lives of women and their families around the world.
the avon foundation aims to accelerate progress, accountability and discovery, and reduce the social stigma that sometimes keeps these issues hidden.
through the breast cancer promise, the avon foundation raises awareness and educates everyone knows the signs, knows the risks and knows how to take action to support their breast health.
through the end violence against women programme, the avon foundation runs and supports programmes to fund front-line services and drive long-term change.
